Description

The Saas-Fee valley in Switzerland is a goldmine of accessible 4000m peaks for those looking to cut their teeth on something bigger than the British Isles can offer.

It was on one such trip that I spent a day tackling the Lagginhorn from its SW ridge when I took this image of my partner soloing up behind me.
