Alex Metcalfe is a multi-disciplinary creative specialising in adventure travel and expedition photography. He loves climbing big, gnarly mountain routes and shooting the drama. He helps outdoor and luxury brands to produce compelling and engaging media through photography and film in the genres of outdoor adventure, travel and lifestyle.

I’m currently building a portfolio of work featuring people in adventurous activities in the UK and internationally.
I’m looking to work with outdoor brands, athletes and organisations who are conscious of and champion the preservation of our environment.
My work is inspired notably by my love of climbing, skiing, remote exploration and travel. Please see my FAQ and about page for more on my approach.

Workshops
I’ve always loved teaching my craft, and encouraging people to pick up a camera and go on an adventure is one of my biggest passions. I’m always looking to branch out and host photography workshops around the world.
